Song Descriptions

Hustle for a Living
Song Description
One of our earlier tracks(circa 2000) describes the hood environment we came up from. You can't knock the hustle because theres money to be made. Mistakes happen. Friends become enemies-so expect he unexpected. Its every man for himself on the streets. Look out for the police and player haters.

Retrospective
Song Description
The Adolescent age. I think most of us have done things during our adolescent period that we regret and would, if given the opportunity to redo our actions. This song goes deep into the altitude of the 'troubled youth' who run the streets: livin the fast life with an 'I don't give a fuck' state of mind. Smile Now-Cry Later; its a phrase thats oh so true. As progress, we can only hope to mature and learn from our experiences.

Politrix
Song Description
A song about survival, basically a type of third-world mentality. In a country such as the United States, its all too easy to take for granted the civil liberties, freedoms, and opportunities which are guaranteed by our constitution. Hay tanta injusticia en el mundo, try to imagine and place yourself in the position of the many starving people all around the world who live in regions of constant violence and who struggle for political representation. The run-and-gun tempo of the flow reflect my state of mind at the time I wrote the lyrics. Life is life, but we must carry on and always stand up and fight for what we believe in. “God Bless the Dead-through all the bloodshed ..., Hasta La Victoria Siempre!!!”(Poltrix)

Fighting Words
Song Description
Underground song which describes the presence of power on a global level. In a time of war anything does go. People die for purposes that are alien, while the truth is often hidden from the masses, and its purpose is never disclosed, only clouded thoughts of misinformation are left on the back burner of societies collective unconscious. Instantaneously present in our minds and in the same moment forgotten. The power of fear is imposed upon societies where corruption is the norm. People died to maintain the status Quo.
